Plinkonomics v0.1.0 — QoL Improvements, Bug Fixes & New Features!


Hey everyone!

Version 0.1.0 is here! This update focuses on improving the overall experience, especially for mobile users, while introducing new functionality and laying the groundwork for future expansions. Here's what's new:

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Double Tap Bug on Mobile
    Fixed an issue where a single tap on mobile devices was unintentionally launching two balls instead of one.

  • Audio Control on Mobile
    Some players reported they couldn’t lower the music volume on mobile. We’ve reduced background music to 20% of its original volume for mobile users and added a mute/unmute button in the settings menu.

⚙  Gameplay & UI Adjustments

  • Pin Placement Rework
    The map's edges no longer have open gaps. Previously, a ball could be launched and land directly in a slot without hitting any pins, this has been corrected.

  • Mobile UI Enhancements
    On mobile devices, the currency display and pause button have been shrunk and moved to the top-left corner, providing better visibility of the ball launcher.

✨ New Features

  • Game Version Display
    You’ll now see the current game version displayed in the top-right corner of the interface.

  • Ball Storage System for the Launcher
    The launcher now features ball storage. Initially, it can hold 10 balls, allowing players to launch up to 10 balls at once, including manual, auto, and duplicated launches. This adds a strategic layer to how you manage ball flow.

🆙 New Upgrade: Ball Storage Capacity

A new upgrade is available to increase your launcher’s ball storage capacity:

  • Starting cost: 1,000 Plinkets

  • Each upgrade adds +1 ball to the limit

  • Maximum storage: 60 balls

While there’s no official roadmap (yet), here are some key areas we plan to improve:

  • More upgrades (Plinkets and Plinkiums)

  • New artifacts

  • Overall balance improvements and progression tuning

  • Fixing the currently broken offline earnings

  • And more!
